Playlists created in the iPod...
« on: July 26, 2005, 09:40:46 am »

When using my iPod with iTunes I can make a playlist in the iPod by putting them in the On-The-Go playlist, saving it and then renaming/editing it later through iTunes. However, since I've been using MC11 for managing the music in my iPod when I make a playlist this way it is not viewable in MC11 and may not be renamed or edited in MC. Am I missing something or is this a feature that is not supported or has a compatability issue between the iPod and MC?

Now I just realized that any playlist made in the iPod not only is not viewable in MC, but gets erased when I hook it up to MC... am I doing something wrong?

It should not get erased unless you sync. Having said that, moving between iTunes playlists (particularly On the Go playlists) and MC playlists is not fully supported.

Is the "On-The-Go" playlist feature on the to-do list with MC?
