Just upgraded to a Lite-On 48x drive, which is on the GoldenHawk list, and I can't get it to stop forcing the use of the generic driver. I have the most recent ASPI installed and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling MJB. I'm running the most recent version.

Any idea when that drive will be supported? I bought it because it was on the GoldenHawk list, but it seems like MJ is lagging behind their drive lineup (or is there something else I should try?).

Version 8 of MJ is using Goldenhawk's 3.9A version. They came out with 3.9B in late September, so it's possible that that is when your drive was added to their supported drives list.
We have upgraded to the 3.9B version in MJ 9.

Oh.... MJ is using the Goldenhawk C++ libraries?  Now the fact that MJ won't' burn 99 minute cd's makes sense, neither will CDRWin.  I used CDRWin for years for burning audio, but they really fell behind for overburning and long cdr's and for a while, they could not burn at 24x or higher, that must be fixed now, since MJ will burn at 32x.

I guess there's no chance of 3.9B sneaking into the next build of MJB 8?

Don't mean to be a pain -- not sure if it's a matter of a few switches or if it's a lot of work. Would be nice to have an up-to-date CD library in the current version without waiting for MJB 9.
