can't upgrade from MJ8 or MJ9 to MC11

I've read many posts and faq's, but can't get MC 11 to give me an upgrade price.  I've got a MJ9 license, and have tried to upgrade by installing MC11 with a working, registered MJ8 as well as a working, registered MJ9 with no luck.  I keep getting the full price.  I've advanced the date to beyond the 30 trial period and still no luck.

What am I missing?
