Check out my vis...
« on: September 10, 2005, 07:30:50 pm »

... and let me know what you think. This is my first one, but it seems pretty clean and moves with the music VERY well.

Here's a couple of screenshots:

And you can download the files here, right click, save as, place them in your Visualizations/Vis Studio/ directory. I named them simply custom01 and custom02... they don't have a name, name them whatever you want.

Let me know what you think or if you have any issues with them.

EDIT:
Moved files to a proper domain.

Changed the format of the Album/Artist/Song view on custom02.mjv so that it reads ARTIST: NAME on top and ALBUM (c)YEAR on bottom.

Removing the cover art is simple.

Go into Theater View. Start the Vis you want to modify. Go to Controls -> Visualization Studio. In the left pane you'll see some items like "Osciliscope, Text, Image" etc. Click on "Image" then click the button at the top that has the red X on it (Remove). Voila, cover art removed. You can do the same for the text if you like.

I modified custom02.mjv and removed cover art and text for you and saved it as custom03.mjv and added it to my above post. Is that what you meant?

Glad you like it :)

Nice Work, I like it.  ;)

Small glitch :  The first "Vis" doesn't show up the spectrum analyser layer in Media Center 10 (10.0.173). There is only the Coverart layer visible. However, in MC 11.0.314 it's working well.

Thank you.

It probably doesn't show up in v10 because they use a different version of the visualization studio, or something else internally is different. I've never used anything but 11 so I can't verify this personally, just a guess. It was designed with 11.

Thanks for the props though ;)
