Both of these updates will not install on my computer. After trying to install a few times by opening the dl .exe, I tried extracting the .exe using Winrar, and then running the extracted installwizard.exe - this works. Anyone got any ideas as to why just opening the dl .exe won't work all of a sudden?

The install dialog starts, runs up to 100%, then disappears - then nothing!

I've had the same problem with trying to install version 11.0.314
As yet it's not installed.
Tried various things - even taking firewall off.
I had a problem though with the installation of Media Center 11 (& 10 for that matter, but not 9)- had to install nisafe mode. I'd been able to get the updates though .. until now

Whilst writing this -I've disabled 3 more things-SPYWEEPER/ MICROSOFT ANTISPYWARE/ & disabled the REAL-TIME protection of SPYGUARD
It now looks like it's FAB so I'm signing off to get this installed .. I hope
