Using 10.0.173 on winxp sp2. Trying to convert APE files to WMA Lossless. As soon as the conversion starts, MC crashes:

AppName: media jukebox.exe    AppVer: 10.0.173.0    ModName: enc_wma.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0    Offset: 00008c93
Crash code is 0xc0000005

Windows Media Player 10 is installed. Encoder plugin is v2.0.34. I can convert to other formats fine, just not the one I need to use! Any ideas? Thanks.

There was a problem with 10 and wma, I think, the codec changed just after 11 came out,
You may be able to uninstall WMP10 player, and install WMP9 and that may work,

Or you can use MC11 that will work.
