Split View - Tile vertically possible?

I´m using MC 11.0.314.
Choosing "Split View" "Show 2 Views" the screen is tiled horizontally (two windows top and bottom). Is tiling vertically (left and right) also possible? If yes, how i can switch to vertically tiled window view (for 2 views)? I have 2 Monitors, so vertical tiled screen would be useful.

Not currently, that I'm aware of.  I use dual monitors also, and this is on my wish list.  In a perfect world, you could BOTH split vertically AND horizontally, so that you had a total of 4 tiles for 2 views (or 6 tiles for three views).  Others may scoff, but displays are getting wider much faster than they're getting taller.  Currently, 3 views is squeezing something, while with dual monitors you have endless unused real estate.
