uninstalling v11 problems

 ? I am trying in vain to uninstall Media Center (actually the entire program) V11.  I tried to uninstall by clicking on the uninstall option in the Start Menu, but nothing happened, so I went to the Windows Control panel and tried it from there... I got a brief hourglass and then nothing...then went to Windows Explorer and the files are still there.... what am I missing?  My trial period is now over... running WIN98SE
