Ripping stuck on encoding
« on: October 10, 2005, 03:15:13 pm »

I popped two discs into my computer and told MediaCenter to rip them both (Secure, Max speed).  I also told it to not use on-the-fly encoding, but instead to use:
2 max concurrent ripping processes
2 max concurrent encoding processes
4 max combined concurrent processes

It has ejected both CDs, but now is stuck on "encoding" the last track.  The rip progress window shows "12.3x" and a bar that's almost complete and says "Encoding 1 Track" below it... and 24 of 25 tracks processed.

This final track doesn't seem to complete. I've left it for over half an hour.

Thanks,
kiwi

p.s. sorry if this is a repost.  I wanted to get the information there before cancelling the rip and losing the last track.
