Please add viewstate files to default resources
« on: December 05, 2005, 01:25:46 pm »

Hi!

I have a small feature request. I really love the feature of creating my own custom browser view and make it as default for all new libraries I create by adding " (default)" to the name of the JMD file and replacing the one in default resources.

I would like to have the possiblity for the view state files (index & data) as well. I tried to copy them to the default resources folder, but they don't get used at all.

Please add these two files to the default resources as well, using the clone feature from library manager, I get a duplicate of the whole database, but I want only the browser and the view state, not the media files as well.

Please think about that idea,
Thanks a lot

For now, you should be able to do get the job done by hand copying the few files over that you need to. (or writing a batch file)

Maybe we can make it easier in the future.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

Since you are merging library browser and lMedia Library at the moment,
wouldn't it be a good time to enhance the presets during that??

Just thought to jump into that again since there is some development at this place right now...

Thx again
