Change Sample Rate
« on: December 14, 2005, 03:53:03 pm »

Can I change my sample rate without re-ripping and if so, how?

Thanks! :)

MC can change this on the fly using some of the highest quality filters available:
DSP Studio > Ouptut Format

Do Replay Gain adjustments affect the volume of these?  I've got one CD that's playing very quietly.

Thanks! :)

For volume, try Replay Gain.

Sample rate is like 32khz, 44khz, etc.  It won't change volume, just the maximum frequency a signal can replicate.  (although boosting a lower sample rate signal doesn't add high signals, but may add "smoothness")

I didn't explain myself well.  I am using Replay Gain and the resampled tracks are playing quieter than the non-resampled ones.
