what is the easiest way to add files to playlists?
« on: June 30, 2003, 09:12:58 am »

i don't store all of my tracks in media library, but rather in external hard drive (too much music!).  when i try to open files to put in a playlist (with the relevant playlist displayed in the main screen of MJ), the files are imported to 'playing now' rather than to the playlist.  is there a way of importing files directly to the playlist, or do i have to go via 'playing now'?  help please, thanks, nick. ?

Create a new playlist and just drag the files on to it.

i can drag and drop files from media library but not from the 'select media file' box that comes up when i click on the 'open file' icon.  this is what i want to be able to do, either by this method, or some equivalent (was nick_putman, now nick_harambee)
