I once asked if J River could make the internal volume control option work for Video files. This would be a great help to me. I love the organization MC provides for Video and Music, but I very often want to play video files silently while playing my music, and MC does not currently provide this functionality. It comes very close with the ability to use multiple zones, but since the internal volume control doesn't work with video files, I always have to play the video files in a separate, inferior player.
All of this is just recapping my previous post to give you some background for my real question:
When a feature request is seemingly ignored, what should be done? Should I keep reminding you politely, once every month or so?
Should I just drop the subject, and trust that you'll either keep it in mind, or that it's not feasable?
Really, it would simplify things quite a bit if I could just get some kind of reply or acknowledgment. If I was told why it can't or won't be implemented, than I would know to just drop the subject and stop bugging you. If I was told that you would consider it, but that it was not currently a priority, I'd know to just remind you on occasion, so that if you ever found the time, you could add it.
But when I get no reply at all, I don't know what to think! Should I just try to find an alternate solution to my problem?
