Ok, this may seem like a silly question, but I'm curious.

Let's say I have a song I've listened to in MC 20 times, and I transfer it to the iPod.  I have a 5G, so everything seems to be transferring seamlessly.  And I listen to the song on the iPod 5 times.  I then hook up the iPod to MC and resynch.

1) When the iPod is first loaded, does it carry the playcount from MC over to it ?  Or does it start at 0 ?
2) When I resynch MC with the iPod, does it just add the iPod playcount to the current MC playcount ?

Basically, I'd like to know what the basic mechanisms are behind the synchronizing of playcount before I start using it.  Can anybody fill me in on that ?
