Updates: Install w/Previous Settings?

With all the updates it would be great if there were an option to "install with previous settings".

Why ? ... I install each update atop of the previous one and it just keep my settings like they are !

Possibly you've not changed anything from the default settings?  Especially the media types -- there are only a couple that I have default to MJ; express and standard both select more than my preference -- I opt for custom, "deselect all" and check the few I want -- not a big deal.  A suggestion, not a debate.
