Chart Finder Question
« on: February 01, 2006, 04:20:11 pm »

Hey King,

Just a question about this - Does this plug-in update the charts each time it is run?  The reason I ask is I want to re-run last years albums - to update the position (i.e. - if it was at 10 when I ran it but a few months later it went to number 1).   If there is an update will it over-write the current data?  If not, is there a way to make it update the chart and to update the information in MC?

Thanks in advance.

the charts are fixed and i have not updated them, and i have no plans to do so.

It is too hard to get new data, and would cost too much.

So current charts are not updated.

That is a bummer - I was really hoping that this was able to stay current - anyway to do a quick update so that they are somewhat current?

no

not unless you have $8,000 to blow at billboard or access to all the current charts in a manageable format

This was my favorite and most used plug-in of yours - it really helped me with rating songs.  Anyway to pay you to update it?
