MC 11.1 iPod issue
« on: December 24, 2005, 11:45:54 pm »

A really mysterious thing:

When I select "eject iPod" sometimes the iPod resets (Apple logo). This happens with 4G and 5G iPods, but yesterday it was the SECOND time, that my 5G finally crashed and hangs in a reset loop. So I've to send it back to Apple again. >:(

Any ideas?  ?

I think you have to Re image, the Ipod, then initialize it with MC, then you should be all set.

Whenever you run into any problem with the Pod, post on the Portable Players board, Steve and them are VERY interested in getting every bug eliminated

Ya, don't mail it.... Send them an email.

What version on 11.1 are you using.... Are you using any other programs for the pod?

I use the latest version (11.1.89) and no other program to sync the iPod. - But I sync a 5G, 4G and an iPod-Shuffle.

Eject has been working fine for me with a 4G 60GB ipod and a 4GB nano.
