11.1.89 Multi-disc rip still not there
« on: December 26, 2005, 08:41:52 pm »

Auto-rip is turned off, but three drives in the machine and number of rip/encode processes set to three. Behavior with 11.0 was that you could load three discs into the drives, press the rip button on one of the disc views, "touch" the other two disc views, and then all discs would rip simultaneously.

In my case, only the disc you touched last rips. The other two have a "cancel rip" button visible in the disc view while the rip is going on, but the rip list shows the tracks on the other two as "On Disc" rather than "Waiting...". I need to close the rip after that disc completes, and then start it on another to continue. However, on occasion in the middle of my ripping, all discs will fire up and rip simultaneously. Nothing different in the environment that I know of--can't reproduce it reliably.

Not sure if this is related or not.
I have 2 drives and am having problems. I don't rip and encode simultaneously.
Everything looks ok until two encode sessions try and run at the same time.
When that happens one disk will stop ripping until the other is done.
I have been playing with settings and trying different things but that is all I have noticed so far.
