Greetings,

I'm looking for a way (as automated as possible) to check/fill the tag genre and year of my 80 gb library of mixed mp3, aac, vorbis, flac and ape library.  I neglected those two fields over the years and now it's become unmanageable without them.

I did some searching and something along the lines of this would work:

Unfortunately, it only supports mp3, and the project has never been completed.

does atagger allow you to selectively choose which fields you want updated? I only want to fill in my missing "year" tags if poss.

Yes, there are checkboxes for which fields you allow it to touch.

Many thanks zxsix, it does exactly what I wanted and more. 

I searched so much for something like this on this website and on others, and tried many programs.  It'd be great if JRiver would put it in the plug-in section of its website.
