Strange Installation Behavoir
« on: January 26, 2006, 07:28:29 pm »

This has happened for a long while.
When installing a new build, I am asked every time if I want to uninstall version 10. I always say "yes". I have auto install checked and the countdown begins but the only thing that happens when it's done is it goes to the next screen (express or custom install) and waits for me.
Everyything installs correctly from that point on. It's merely mildly irritating because I know it's not supposed to behave like that. Thought you might like to know.

I'm not sure what happened, but you can erase the MC 10 uninstall entry from here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
