Synch an Ipod from another computer

Hi
I have set up 2 pcs to use the same library (on a portable drive with the music).

I always synch my ipod with the same pc, but I'm wondering what would happen if I tried to do it with the other one? Is Ipod synch info kept in the library, or is there a file in the MC program folder that I could synch between computers so that I can use either to synch my ipod?
