I use MC with a touchscreen controller.  Because of this, it works better if the fonts are enlarged to allow better touch control.  The problem is that if you change the fonts to improve resolution of the media, the top section of MC blends together.  Any chance you can use one font for the tree and a different font for the menu bar and header?

Anytime you use a bigger font the Title Bar font is cut off, so I agree it woul dbe nice to be able to use larger fonts and control the size of the Titel bar.

by the title bar, do you mean the player (i.e. where the track info is displayed) as i also have this problem.  i have a laptop with a small screen size and so need to use large fonts, but then the title bar/player lines overlap.  is there any way of adjusting the size of the title bar/player, so that bigger fonts will fit in?
