Shanah Toveh to you Z.

Nice to be back (maybe). Sequoia and Yosemite are quite stunning - I'll post a couple of pictures when I get my photoediting software updated.

Weather was terrific for climbing - 55-65 F, with cloudless skies.

Trails were quite steep, particularly in Sequoia - some of them were 1:3 - 1:4. My wife doesn't like heights, and had to turn back from one that was essentially a 36" wide corniche, with a vertical rock wall on one side, and on the other a drop of several thousand feet into a canyon.  No ropes or wires - you're on your own.

Worth the effort though. Eating lunch by a glacier lake at 10k feet with no-one else around except a few birds and deer clears your mind of a lot of rubbish.

The desert has stunning landscapes, and gives you more opportinity'to open your mind,to think'

But my friend was since long settle in Tel-Aviv,so .....
