Hi
Has anyone had any success using the above player with Media Center 11, all we can get when trying to dump songs to it is the message box

info
None of the tracks can be transferred
common errors include insufficient rights or unsupported file types

MC11 sees the U10 and it knows what media is already on it.
All the files wishing to be transferred are mp3 either 128 or 192kbps

It works with windows medai player 10

anyone shine any light on the subject

Please try MC 11.1.  It should support any device that WMP supports.  It also supports iPods and drive type devices.

Hi
This one maybe trickier than first thought, if the iriver U10 is connected directly to the pc which has all the media on it, then yippee it works, if I take it to my other pc on the network (wireless) which is running MC also and try a transfer of media from the library server, then I get the above errors, if I run MC11.1.123 as a stand alone programme on that pc after a unistall/reinstall with its media on its own hard drive  then it works.

So I think what I am saying is that when connected to a pc that is connected to a library server, it doesn't work. However windows media player 10 does work with "remote" media.

Searching these boards the answer to my problem is in thread

It seems due to legal issues this can not be implemented in Media Center, so how do Microsoft get away with it  in WMP10 ??
