Preserving playlists- simple question
« on: February 21, 2006, 02:48:12 pm »

I've recently had to do a 'nuke and pave' reinstall of XP SP2 and apps on my HTPC to resolve a driver version conflict. I still have the old install as a mounted drive image, so all files are available.

My simple question is: In what file are my playlists stored? I usually use MC to play my playlists, and had quite a few set up. I'd like to just transfer them over.

Alternatively, I see a command for exporting playlists, but none for importing. Sorry if I'm being thickheaded here, but a search of the help file and the forums didn't uncover an answer. Thanks for the help.

Use File > Library > Backup Library...

MC 11.1 also makes automatic backups (every 3 days and monthly) for you.
