Due to a bug a while back where MC was leaving the cover art off of the last song of some albums during a rip, I've got a few dozen ablums where one song on the album is missing the cover art.  I'm not sure about the best way of getting the cover art from one of the OTHER songs on the album onto the song that it's missing from.  I don't want to just "find it" on the internet again since I can't be sure it will be the exact same art.

What I thought I could do is "extract" the cover art from one of the OTHER songs on such an album and put it in the Cover Art directory.  I could then tell the one song to "find cover art in directory...", at which point the last song would get the EXACT same art file as the rest of the album.  What I'm not clear about, however, is how to "extract" the art off from a song and copy it to my Cover Art folder.  What's the best way to doing this?

Is there a better way of doing what I want?

If you right click on a file that has got the cover art you want, choose Image|Copy to Clipboard.

Then just click on the file that hasn't got the image, and click Image|Paste from Clipboard.

Works for me...but it may depend what setting you've used in MC for storing the images.

Thanks -- I'll give that a try.

That said, does MC offer an easy way to "extract" image files from multiple songs into the cover art folder using a single operation?

Also, isn't MC still supposed to store cover art in the cover art folder even when "store in file" is checked (as per this thread:  http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=32487.0)  At the moment, if I use the "store in files" option, I get nothing in the cover art folder even when albums find cover art during ripping.
