I'm using MC 11.1.139 with the latest Flac encoder and decoder and have run into a problem setting an album tag to 'Fijación Oral Volumen 1'.  There is no error message but the tag is not written. Change the letter 'ó' to 'o' and the tag is written ok. I have extended characters in other files but in the Artist name and those all seem to be written ok.

Any suggestions?

Worked fine on my computer.  I am using 11.1.139 and decoder 1.5.

This is all within MC?  Are you checking using the "File Type Info" window in the Action Window?

Sounds like you have an older decoder.  Try the latest one from my website, not the one here on JRiver.

You were right, I definately had 1.5 installed but for some reason it had been replaced with 1.3. I can't explain how that happened.
