I'm trying to run MC on a computer that I don't have Administrator/power user privileges on and cannot get.  I'd like to be able to access the media library from my desktop computer over the network.  Is there any way to get around the problem of having to run MC once as a "power user"?  I don't have the ability to do that, but it'd be great to use MC here.

Media Center should run with user rights. (the most basic rights on WinXP)

You'll need to install and run it once as administrator.  After that, it'll work for users.

Well... That's exactly what I mean I don't have permissions to do.  Is there a way I can get it to run just from a directory or an installation on another machine (network)?

Give the administrator flowers/cookies/gifts/etc.
