Has anybody tried these Wi-Fi speakers: http://www.avegasystems.com/_documents/Oyster_Specifications.pdf or anything like them? 

Look ideal for my small house, especially since I'm not too concerned about brilliant output as I'm partially deaf in one ear

Looks interesting. Too bad they use the word 'audiophile' and then fail to post the frequency response of the speakers. They say they go below 20hz and above 40khz but they deliberately don't report the plus or minus db aspect. For all we can tell they are 18hz to 40khz +or- 18db!!

I wouldn't buy them unless you can get them with a good return policy.

Thanks for the comments.  I don't know anything about the technicalities of speakers so I'll take your advice on this until I can actually hear them.  BTW I've not seen them advertised anywhere else so maybe they've died a death
