Problem with File Associations in Windows XP x64
« on: May 17, 2006, 04:48:57 pm »

I'm running Windows XP 64 bit and I have noticed that if you are browsing your files in Explorer and try to double-click or right-click and select 'Play in Media Center', Windows prompts for what program to use and if you select Media Center it waits like its going to play but never does.  All media types are associated with MC.  I have reinstalled and still the same issue.  I have tried to enable and disable shell integration also.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Copy MC11.exe from: (so it's in both)

Windows\SysWOW64 to Windows\System32

A future build will have this Win64 workaround built in.

Thanks.
