Quick costum tag storing and importing question

What is the rules when importing files with costum tags stored in file tags?
Some of the costum tags are not showing when I import it on a clean MC.

You HAVE to have the costum fields added in the library BEFORE importing? That's the only thing I can think of.

More or less, yes. That's certainly the smoothest method. MC will not create a field simply because a tag exists in a file.

If you imported before creating the custom fields, selecting files then use the "update library from tags" tool to have the custom fields populated with the data contained within the files.

Yepp. The library will not search for and import tags that are not discribed in the library.
Kinda logical when you think about it...
