I have a collection of over 4,000 songs in MC 11.1 and on my iPod.  I recently added cover art to most of the tracks in MC and when I went to sync the iPod it said there was nothing to sync.  To get around this I had to remove all of the songs from the iPod and then take the time to reload ALL of them to get the cover art added.  I have now started to add lyrics to some of the songs and I have found the same problem that adding lyrics is not flaging as a change to the song for iPod syncing purposes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Only changes to basic fields (artist, album, name, rating, etc.) are considered for syncing purposes.  This is because there isn't a fast way to get the art or lyrics from a file on an iPod to check for changes.

Doing a Reinitialize and Resync is your best bet if you make lots of changes to extended fields.
