Sorry if there's a place for suggestions but I didn't find it.
So, it's a given that JR Media Jukebox blows iTunes out of the water. I've found that out recently and am moving my whole collection over.
The features that I would kill to get are
1) Easy import of iTunes database. Isn't the iTunes SDK public? It should be fairly straightforward to import the database, right? Or a simple XML parser that would take the iTunes XML and use it to build a JR database.
OK, so I found the answer here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=33344.msg228398#msg228398 2) JR could get a huge chunk of the amateur-DJ crowd if you were to add a plugin or as a main feature the ability to select multiple sound outputs so that you could preview a track via one while another track was playing. -
OK, I was too quick to jump the gun. After some searching I found this functionality in JR Media Center. This place rocks!! Seems like I'm going to need to move up to Media Center!
Hope someone finds this post useful.
