Calibrating the entire PC using Replay Gain
« on: June 26, 2006, 12:10:39 pm »

How do you handle calibrating your entire audio system using Replay Gain (that is, 0 dBFS corresponding to 103 dB SPL, and -20 dB corresponding to 83 dB SPL)? Media Center supports Reply Gain, and outputs signals with an average level of -20 dBFS when Replay Gain is active. But others applications don't support Replay Gain, and Windows XP does not support it either (you can ignore Windows if you use separate speakers for system sounds). So, how do you handle this?
