GHammer: Audible Hotfix

Still get "Downloading Audible MTP hotfix from Microsoft" when I install.
You'd think it would have been installed by now.

Hi GHammer,

What OS version and WMP version are you using?

Also, what is the full version of these three files in your system folder:
audiodev.dll
mswmdm.dll
wpdsp.dll

Thanks!

I am pretty sure it had been once.

On the plus side, I just installed .33 and did not get this install again.
I had not booted the system in many days, maybe the package was not really there until a restart?

Thanks GHammer.

It's possible your system actually needed the hotfix, and that it didn't finish installation until a reboot.

Let us know if this ever pops up again.
