A feature that I have been longing for a long time is the ability to upload files to my iPod while my Media Library is accessed through a remote server using the Media Server.
Currently I have all my music on a media PC running Media Server in the living room. It works great to play music from the other PCs in the house through the Media Server client in MC and I like the read-only aspect, i.e. no one can accidentally erase the entire collection. But to upload to an iPod (or any other device), the Media Server option does not work.
Any plans for this in the future?
