ipod doesn't show library

Downloaded Media Center, plugged in ipod and it recognized everything on my ipod but when I transferred a song then it wipes my ipod out. There appears to be nothing on it but it still shows that I have GB used. Media Center still shows my library to be on my ipod. I have already reset ipod and erased it and started over and this keeps happening. Any ideas? Must be something simple.

Are you running the latest build (.190) available from the top post in this forum?  There were some recent issues with iPods and the latest firmware from Apple that .190 resolved.

Downloaded the latest build (.190) and this did not fix the problem. Also, itunes no longer recognizes my ipod. It has given me a message to restore it back to factory settings. I can still go to Media Center and transfer files to my ipod and still see my library on Media Center but it just won't show up on my ipod. HELP!
