Although I dislike the default album names, it does come in handy for organizing.

If you ever wanted to expand on this capability, it would be good to allow the Album default name for images to be set by the user.  May or may not be practical.  I use Downloader Pro from Breeze Systems to download from camera to PC and it has a robust token system you might want to look at.

Now the bug.  I noticed I have two default albums of "2001" and "2006", rather than a full date.  The only thing in common is that the pictures were taken on 1/1.  So instead of getting "1/1/2001" it is just "2001".

I have not tried to replicate since it is so minor.

Follow up...

On my laptop, the default image albums are 5/20/2006 but on my main computer they are 2006-05-20.  I don't know if I have a setting set differently between the two, or possibly different MC versions were used at different points in time.
