the question burning in me is, will this level of customisability (<-- is that a word, if it isn't, it should be!) be retained?

Nice skin..... File Noire is a nice lookin skin, have you looked at it using the Negative effect? It is soo cool looking...

Now, if some one out there updated a skin or to to match Negative, it might be kinda cool...    8)

Why not install it?? 11.1 and 12 can co-exist. There shouldn't be any reason not to.
