What tagging is available for MC in JPG's and AVI's?  I would like to tag my jpg images but don't want to put a ton of work in to find out that the tags were lost with a new MC version or something else.  Are these files capable of storing tags like MP3's and FLAC files are?  I like the idea of keeping tags in every file to protect against the worst case scenario--it also allows other databases to collect tags on a re-scan.

JPEGs Yes (MC12 has further support of EXIF data as well)

AVI No (I'm not aware of any programs that support tagging of the avi container. Some formats have embedded tags, but editing them is difficult)
