No, at this point, I am just hitting the Roots and they are either Default or pretty close to it. 

The pattern is more like MC starts fast, do a bunch of stuff at good speed, then all of a sudden the views get slow.  No impact to play back.

Question -- I imported my Library from MC 11, rather than New Library starting from scratch, I assume that is okay?

~10K images, 
~10k audio, almost all VBR MP3
<50 video files


OKAY, I think I found something....  VIDEO files....  I importated a bunch of videos of various sources and formats.  I thnk the slow downs has to do with that.

I deleted them out of my MC12 library and it seems better now. 


Anything I should look for as a culprit?

Is it only slow when entering or leaving a video view?  It's possible thumbnailing (which happens at a video view) isn't behaving.

No, in fact most of the slow downs were Audio and Images root view.  But perhaps something in an earlier visit to the video view.  And I did have an out right crash in Video view scheme.

I will try and selectively import some videos and see what is what.

I am having so many crashes I've lost count. It's definitely to do with the thumbnailing of videos I think.

It seems to lock MC up.
