crash on synchronising
« on: August 14, 2006, 10:13:04 am »

I have recently bought a HP6915 Smartphone with windows mobile 5.0
there is a media player 10 build in.

MC recognises the HP and I trie to sync some playlists.

After a random number of uploading the program gets stuck in the uploading.
I have to close the program with ctrl alt del button and end task.

I have version MC 11.1.191 and on the PC Windows XP SP2

Please advice

Can you give us more information...

Can you narrow it down to certain tracks or types of tracks that are causing the problem?

Is there conversion involved (if so, from what to what)?

Is the device running out of space?

Is ActiveSync involved? Is it interferring?

Are any of the tracks licensed?

There is a logging feature under the help menu. Set it up to log handheld events to a file. Please send the log file to rick at jriver dot com the next time MC locks up (before you restart MC).

The log file can be found at...

Tracks are all MP3 128 bytes (I converted all the files to the same type and quality)

according to the above, I think there is no conversion needed, allthough I didn,t put it off.

No out of space , all is put on storage card and has more than 800Mb left.

Activesync is involved, and is the latest version 4.2.0. So far no problems at all with active sync.

No tracks are licensed

I will send You the log file immediatly by e-mail

Greetings.
