Do Web Radio (.pls) links work?

Er, do web radio (.pls) links work in MC12?  I tried dragging links from Shoutcast into Playing Now, which had previously worked, and now all MC does is burp, as if it doesn't like the file type.  Mp3's play fine, FWIW.
