Swapping Stereo Channels At Sound Card Level
« on: August 20, 2006, 06:45:58 pm »

I am using the amazing Altec Lansing ATP4 speakers and they, like the ATP3's, have a special plug for the front right speaker which has controls.  I, however, find this speaker much more handy being on the left of my desk.  I cannot switch the speaker plugs, though, so I was wondering if there was a way to setup a swap of audio channels at the sound card level.  It isn't that it matters a whole lot, but it does kind of bother me to have everything opposite.  I suppose a special audio cable (from computer to speakers) would solve the problem but it isn't worth the $4 or so.  I am using the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum card and it comes with about a million pieces of software but I haven't found anything yet.  Any ideas?  I once thought I saw something like this in the standard Windows control areas but I can't seem to remember.  Thanks!
