pops on burned cd

I am recording from a minidisc straight into the soundcard and using auto sound level option.  Sound is ok, until I burn a cd then, you hear all this pops.  How do I fix this?

Check the Line In Recording tips under Help above.  You may need to adjust the volume level before you record.
