Handle in Wrong State?
« on: August 31, 2006, 11:54:03 pm »

I can't update Media Center to update because it says my "handle is in the wrong state."  I have a satellite internet connection.  How do I get an update?

Are you trying to update MC 11?
You can try to install the latest build which can be found here : (link taken from the first post on this board):
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/MediaCenter111195.exe

It would be best to first download the linked file and after that start the installer from a local HD.

Thank you for the link. I was able to update to the newest revision.  I will have to use this route in the future.  For some reason the "Check for Updates" in MC 11 isn't working for me.  I downloaded first and then did the install and it worked perfect.  Thanks again!
