MC 11.1 crashes
« on: September 09, 2006, 05:25:18 pm »

MC seems to crash on me quite a bit for various reasons. Today I tried to change from one library to another and MC immediately exited. When I brought it back up it was in the new library. Earlier today I navigated from Playing Now to Videos and MC again immediately exited. These are just a couple of examples from today alone, I get this kind of behavior quite often. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern that triggers the crashes, just random, generic tasks.

Try disabling all visualizations and third party plug-ins.  There are several that have caused problems.

If that doesn't do it, there are other possibilities.  This thread has some:

In general, MC11.1 is very stable, so I don't think it's the program.
