Video in MJ

I was playing a video in MJ and below the video window it said windows media player.
Is that what MJ has as a video player and TV?
I'm new to this and am looking for info.

For video formats, we use the playback engine from WMP or Real or QuickTime.  TV support uses our dll and drivers that manufacturers wrote for Windows.

Thanks for the info.
If I upgrade to the next level do I get ASIO drivers?
Also how do I import all the files that I have downloaded so far?
