hi.

i maitain my music collection across 2 external hard drives and wondering what's the best way to sync music withoug doing a replace all everytime.  is there any sync software out there or does MC have any tools for this?

I like SyncBack.  I bought the full version but there is a free version, too.  It gives you a ton of options to configure your backup or sync (both directions).

Or you can try SyncToy from Microsoft. It is part of their PowerToys and it is free. It works pretty well for me.

I know I can test this at home in a few hours, but if I have MC set up so that it saves data in the ID tags, does the file size/date/time change whenever I make changes to the ID tag?

So do I. The only problem with it is that if I have for example 5 folders in the root of drive K: and I want to backup 3 of those, I have to make a separate Job for each of the 3 folders.
