Dell/Rio DAR

Anyone know about and work being done to support the dell/rio digital audio receiver market? I know of some a couple of projects out there and still would like to see a plugin or media server support for the Dell/Rio DAR. The software the comes with the device is quite limited.

We have been in contact with SonicBlue about support for this unit, but so far they have been unwilling to provide us with the means to access it.
